Dr. Matinee Maipang, MD., Group 1 CEO and Director of Bangkok Hospital Headquarters, has proudly accepted the 2023-2024 Thailand’s Most Admired Company award, securing the top spot in the Private Hospital Category for the second consecutive year. This prestigious recognition, presented by BrandAge magazine, highlights the hospital’s excellence across several criteria, including innovation, business performance, brand image, management, social responsibility, and exceptional service.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the role of medical technology has become increasingly prominent, giving rise to new healthcare service models such as Telemedicine and home care by specialists. Bangkok Hospital has also adopted advanced technologies like Robotic Surgery, successfully performing procedures for various conditions including colorectal, liver, lung, prostate cancers, and even thoracic surgery as well as other general surgeries like hernias and gallstones. These innovations have reduced complications and significantly shortened recovery times.
A testament to our strength in innovation and the trust we’ve earned from our patients is the recognition BDMS received with the Best Innovative Company Award for pioneering a new technique in hip replacement surgery that avoids cutting muscles making us the first in the Asia-Pacific region to do so. This Direct Anterior Approach Hip Replacement (DAA) has garnered international acclaim in the medical community.
What makes us most proud is that our doctors don’t keep these advancements to themselves. We have shared these groundbreaking surgical techniques with our network hospitals, including Royal Phnom Penh Hospital, and extended our knowledge beyond the network. Thanks to our esteemed Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation—held proudly and consistently since 2017—alongside our specialized Heart, Neurological, and Trauma Centers, we continue to lead with both expertise and heart.

Driven by a passion for continuous improvement, we are thrilled to offer you even more advanced treatment options and upgraded, welcoming facilities. Our latest strides in aesthetic and wellness services, as well as complex heart and spine surgeries, reflect our deep commitment to bringing you the absolute best care possible.

We have also taken exciting leaps in medical technology, such as fully integrating our cutting-edge MRI 3 Tesla. This amazing equipment does not just give us crystal-clear diagnostic accuracy; it makes the whole scanning experience much more comfortable and stress-free for you, which is always our top priority.
